Hero Magnus is a musician and writer. As a teenager, she worked at legendary studio Inner Ear with Don Zientara and opened for punk bands around the DC metro area. Magnus went on to undergrad at Yale, where she became a college radio DJ and recorded her debut EP, the lyrical and intimate Make Me A Man. This year, Magnus wrote her first full-length album with the support of a postgraduate fellowship from Yale. She’s currently based in Brooklyn, NY, where she is playing shows and recording the album.
