To uplift what is, whatever it is — staying with reality — mix it up with material and mind. The breath catches phenomena, to be spirited away on an urgency for ascent.
Yesterday, I signaled chaos….
“Usually I follow up a signaling with a prompt and a spiritual exercise for paid subscribers. For now, just the signaling. Acknowledge where we are. & what the follow-up? Today, tomorrow, I’ll let it uprise."
Here I am with an uprising. Out of chaos, and defiant of induced confusion — fusion. An intermixing of internal and external sight, light of the mind and physical light.
I believe I’ve approached this before as “Internal Horizon” — a line blended with perception of the external world, offering its own balance. We can right our internal horizon despite all oppressive forces, illiberal lapsing into autocracy, dictatorship, despair.
Internal Horizon Dawn, the beginning of liberation….
When consciousness expands, freedom expands.

Let us, together, enter the shimmering.
By doing so, soon, we can enter shimmering (object into adverb, for how we might enter our next moment, next phase, what’s next). Let us shimmer with what we must do.
Jack Whitten created new tools to “rake light” as he once said, and for this painting, Ascension I, he said he was “weaving the light.” The abstract couldn’t be more concrete. Luminous interweaving, intervening lift, everything is light, light as paint and paint as light (and here, if writing is light, it’s pixels or ink): photon dazzle. Warp and woof of material uplift. Go into the shimmer. Gaze.
Have you reached the end of your mind through this peering? What the blend? Look into depths. Breathe. Do things scintillate and gleam with your inspiration? Enter into folds of your brain — gyri and sulci. Enter, shimmering.
The subjective is objective. The exact subject of oppression is our souls, our subjectivity; such is exactly what tyranny throughout the ages has ever attempted to crush. Soul is the supreme power source.
It’s a difficult practice, trusting internal truths to externalize. Every day offers a chance for freedom, for breakthrough. No joke, beyond prompts, I’m trusting my way towards a shareable practice: a yoga of Poetry, Thought, Word Magick; or, as it’s evolving, a yoga of The Internal Horizon Dawn.
First, a fusion, a formula, since nothing can keep us down for long — unceasing flash and sparkle of ascent, upspiraling.

Furthermore…
To all painters: let’s go where the computer cannot go.
—Jack Whitten
Nowadays I would call out to all artists of every form or genre, all thinkers or innovators in every field, every wielder of the Creative: let’s go where AI cannot go…
& by extension, let’s go where any mechanized anti-humanism cannot go, beyond the reach of inhuman and inhumane mania for control.

Behind the paywall yesterday, I made room for reporting of readers’ personal experiences of Trump Administration barbarity. Please note, I’ve adjusted the settings so everyone can leave a comment…
"How has this regime affected you and your friends and family, directly or indirectly? I’ll plan to compile such bearing witness, somehow, should your comments here add up to a forum, a community of testimony within the safeguard of poetic dwelling."

Thank you as always for helping me touch back into my soul with your words. You are so right I think that fighting tyranny is about staying connected to our souls. Art for all! As much art as we can muster!
