America Defeats America at the ballot box.

The Killing Joke continues to provoke wincing titters. Trump is archetypal, the Crowned Buffoon. Destruction is manic. Their right-hand-doesn’t-know-what-the-left-hand-is-doing prestidigitation or our pearl-clutching, we were looking in the wrong direction the whole time. Now crudity erects a big tent for cruelty. The platform is vertiginous, the tub tiny. Democracy wears a duncecap as it takes a dive for maligned normality.
