Baa’l the Llama hasn’t yet found a way to avoid completely its recurrent falling into darkness, despite intermittent shimmerings of illumination (or catch-as-catch-can moments of celebration or simple joys, joie de vivre); the urge towards light continues, even as my collaborator and I conclude Volume 1, leaving Baa’l in comfy hibernation, as it were, for the time being.
We will be back for more, as in the meantime we tend to urgent developments in our respective lives, I with several works moving towards fruition in 2025-2026, and my daughter Hero ready in the months ahead to put out her first full-length album of original music.
Here you have all the llamas roughly collected.
Check out more than half of the comic strips as posted last summer:
#’s 1- 18
Now all the rest follow…

Hero graduated from Yale a year and a half ago, with a postgrad grant to make an album; she spent six months writing the songs in New Orleans where she was born, and then has been recording in New York ever since.
Stay tuned for her upcoming singles releases and album drop:

Here’s one of her playlists, “songs to go with my new song scruff”: Scruff Stuff

Allegory of the Llama comic strip will be back, so stay with us (although reality these days isn’t exactly enticing Baa’l out of the comforts of the cave).
Mustard is elated for new Hero Magnus! Absolutely love these comics.
